What do you have in mind for a setting like a park setting, downtown or the suburbs. These ideas can be a big factor in helping someone give you good location Ideas.

Just like dcoates said, it really depends on what kind of shots/mood you want. For some reason, graffiti intrigues me. So I seem to use that a lot in my pictures because that's what catches my eye whenever I'm in the city. I try to look for places (under/over/behind) that people who are walking or driving past, might not normally notice.

Nice work, I looked at your site. I do see what you mean. I love shooting people pictures, like models. Fashion and glamour shots are my favorites. Maybe a really nice park downtown Toronto. Thanx for the tip. You can check out my site to, its the link at the top of the page that says joanna's portfolio. A majority of my photos were taken manually and developed by me in a darkroom. You will be able to notice which ones are done in that manner.
Its funny that you say graffiti intrigues you because I have been wanting to shoot photos around a graffiti setting for a long time now, Im just not sure were to do this in lets say a nice neighbourhood with a decent graffiti wall. If you no what I mean, actual art graffiti, not like slang and stuff like that. Do you know of any were that is possible because I want to do 'punk' shoot. I love shooting photos with the punk theme, you know like gothic, punk, rocker...... I find it to be very unique and each look so different from the next.

Sometimes you'll find them on the concrete walls of bridges.
