funny story about that first one;
i was drunk, pissing in that lake and noticed how cool it looked. i had my point and shoot canon with me and fortunately it has a manual mode. i set my beer can down on the ground, balanced my little camera on it and took a long exposure. that kick ass photo was the result.

lol...I don't think it could have come out any better if you were sober! :)
It's like, one of those enchanted places you see in a movie.
Gives you a great feeling looking at it, almost magical!
You never get tired of looking at it!

i hate to keep demystifying that shot, but it's just funny from my side to know how unmagical that magical shot was. the misty fog-like stuff surrounding the tree - that's from my buddy doing a burnout in his truck about 100 feet from me. ;)

Damn! You're gonna ruin the photo for me! LoL!!! :)
Nahhhh, still love the shot and I think the burnout was an unexpected added touch, which worked perfectly in the photo.

Regardless, the photo is still amazing. I find it pretty cool to know how this photo came about too. HAHAHA!

very nice shots. I too love the first one and as for the story behind it You would never know it was taken by a drunk photographer,especially that the beer can was the "tripod". and the "fog" even though it was not really ment to be it gave it a very nice added touch, you should thank your drunken buddy for that.
It came out very well.

That drunk effect really works!! :D I also agree that the smoke effect, even though it wasn't meant to be in the photograph, does add a great effect to it.
Great color. Very well done.
