What kind of music do you listen to?

Well, For me. I listen to all kinds of music. Most people say that and don't really mean it but I listen to a good variety of it. I listen to, Rock, Jazz, A little country, some rap, Techno, Instrumental, RnB, Drums and Bass... The list goes on and on.

That's the span over 3 drives. As you can see, I have over 40% music files and 43% of un-recognized files most of which is lossless music and the program that I'm using does not recognize.


So my question to ya'll is. What kind of music do YOU listen to. How much do you have and if you have a last.fm account then Post it.

mainly metal and other heavy genres of music for me at the moment.

but i tend to listen to chillout electronic music while doing my homework etc.

i don't have last.fm but i can summarize my musical selections like this;

72% - angry white kid music*

23% - metal*

5% - stuff they play on the radio*

I personally love rock, some hip hop and hardly anything on the radio :eek:
Currently my fav musicians are The Black Lips, Oasis, Shiny Toy Guns, Atmosphere.

I like lo-fi underground stuff. I like Black Metal if done properly, not the fast at all cost, Satan is going to beat you up, kind... Graveland, Xasthur, Ildjarn, Striborg, Sacrilegium, Burzum, Bathory etc etc are good in my opinion and I doubt anyone here knows any of these...

A Mixture - Nightwish, Most H/M (RIP Randy Rhodes) prefer thrash metal over dealth metal though like Slayer (the old stuff) and some alternative Aus Stuff. Depends on the mood I'm in lol

80s metal, and classic rock. There are some other genres that I like too...some goth, folk, new age.
